Concrete Raising and Leveling in Iowa and Nebraska Area
Your Experts in Concrete Repair for Des Moines, Lincoln, Omaha, and Cedar Rapids
When you need experts in sinking concrete Midwest Structural Repair is here to help. While traditional mudjacking was a previous method for lifting slabs of concrete, modern technology has provided a more advanced tactic that will keep your structures leveled and stable. With no excavation required we continue to assist homeowners with all types of concrete formations that surround the average home. This includes:
- Garage floors
- Basement floors
- Patios and porches
- Pool decks
- Garden paths
- Any other type of concrete surface on your home's property
Any of these exteriors can be properly lifted, raised, and restabilized to the proper adjustment making it more usable and less uneven. More often homeowners think of the unsightliness that these areas create, but more than visual aspects this can be a leading issue to more structural problems surrounding the damaged area if left unchecked for too long. This includes any other structures attached to the sinking concrete which will 'pull' them apart such as patios and porches- as well as the most important areas like basement & garage floors.
Our Concrete Repair Process: Polyurethane Foam Injection
In this day and age, polyurethane foam injection is the least intrusive method for leveling concrete. It requires no excavation and may only take a few hours to complete. From its counterpart of traditional mud jacking, no slabs need to be dug up or remolded back into place. Instead, we drill a small hole in the concrete and use a tube that pumps and injects polyurethane foam into the ground. As more material pressurizes and expands underneath, it lifts the concrete and raises it to a measured level. The material itself is tested and proved to cover more 'voids' in the sub terrain while being the strongest material. Once hardened, it can handle enormous amounts of weight making it more durable and longer lasting than mud jacking.
